Our easy to use Modbus ActiveX PLC communications control (also we have .net native mode) installs as a control in your Visual Basic toolbox. Just drag and drop it into your project, Make some simple calls to the control to read and write PLC registers into your VB variables, then write your VB user interface code.

These two function calls to the control do the PLC reads and writes:
ReadPLC(Register,Variable)
WritePLC(Register,Value)

Modem communications are built into the Comm packages at no extra cost.
